morning lights;

and all that dreamy nonsense. ;)

1st. March, 2008

Sports Day! And boy, when we all got to school, it was raining and raining and raining. It wasn't too heavy rain but it was certainly going on and on non-stop. Sat at the skylite until 8.30 a.m. or so before we finally had to move to the field despite the rain. So, yes, we got wet. And being the rain in KL, slight diz
ziness overcame me and Ruz. Sob. Hahah, but after a while, it went away due to my overwhelming nervousness. Lol.

When boredom attacks.
AIDS-faced Chuah. LOL.

Rain finally ceased and kawad started. Shirtliff was so awesome. Their movements were so synchronised and their tabik hormat was so unique. And then it was like, Oh, *toot*, it's time for 100 meter already?! Okay, became time to completely freak out. Did warm ups and stuff and after watching the under-15 girls and boys run their 100 meter races, it was our turn. I swear my heart was thumping like crazy when I stood at the starting line waiting for our cue to start running. Okay, fine, the gun was shot and so I started running like crazy. Barefoot. X) The ground was so completely icky and wet but it still kinda felt nice after some time. Okay, back to running like crazy. Ran and ran and then halfway reached this huuuugeeee puddle of water and mud and when I passed it, I actually slipped a little but regained my steps and tried running forward even faster so that I would pass the icky area of mud and water. =_=

Finished second. ; ) First was Syahirah from Green (eh, she had SPIKES! Hmph.) and third was Aileen from Shirtliff too! Yaaaayyy. ^^

By the time I walked back to the tent, it was time for 200 meter already. What the hell right. Haha, so we got sent to the starting line for 200 meter. I knew I was freaking out again but this time I hadn't actually prepared myself mentally to run yet when the guy said, "Ke garisan, sedia, *BANG*!" So I was like, okay, just run. HAHA. Started sprinting at the 100 meter starting line.

Finished third. Syahirah got first agaaaaiin and this time, Aileen got second. Nyahahaha, we rock, Aileen. =D

Rested for a while and then it was 4 by 100 meters. This event was kinda worrisome because our first runner, Hamizah had just run 400 meter before that and we were worried that she'd be too tired to give us a headstart. And Yee Vonne had a cramp in her foot. >.< style="font-weight: bold;">awesome! Hamizah gave us the headstart we needed and Yee Vonne maintained that lead and was really fast herself too when Hamizah passed the baton to her. And when I got it from Yee Vonne, I ran like hell la. Nyahaha. Finally passed the baton to Aileen and Shirtliff under-18 girls team managed to maintain our lead throughout the entire race.

Yippee, gold. We were so ecstatic, we started hugging each other like crazy. Nyahaha.

Prize giving time was kind of a letdown. Shirtliff didn't win kawad and Shirtliff did
n't win for the best board. Okay, I shall refrain from doing any commenting here. I shall respect the public. But Shirtliff did win Best Tent! Credit goes to our Tent AJK, Aileen! ; )

Before the prize giving, this was what the score was like.

Look, we had lowest for sukantara. Sobs.

By the time it was prize giving, we knew Shirtliff had been in third place. But in the end, we found out that somehow we were last, losing to Cooke by ONE mark after the best kawad, best board and everything else was announced. Again, no commenting. Haha. Maclay won overall champion and Bevv got Olahragawati for under-18 girls and Syazwi got Olahragawan for under-18 guys. Congratulations!

I missed my 100 meter prize giving because I didn't hear my name being called.
=_= Had to literally hunt for my medal after that. Thanks Shukran for being so observant and telling me that Syahirah had taken my medal. Yes, I know, I owe you. =)

See, my shoe is CLEAN. Nyahahhaa.
But that's only because I didn't run with my shoes. Haha.
And the barefoot is Shukran's. Lol.

Hakim, you nampak macam retard. *evil grin*

That's the Head of Green.
Ran with his long distance racers just to give them encouragement. ^^

Rushed to my grandma's place after that for a shower and lunch then went off for Subash. I am SO wonderwoman. Haha. Julian made it too but I was earlier. So I am more wonderwoman than he is Superman. HAHA.

Ate in The Ship after Subash and I was practically starving. Had this superb meal of sizzling chicken with garlic cream sauce. It was like, perfect.

Went homeee after that. Though my family (especially T.E.W.) very obviously took no notice of my achievement today, I guess it was still a great day that shouldn't be ruined by them. So, yeah.

Can you make out the silhouette?

When the silhouette is lifted.
^^

Oh yes, random picture. *evil grin again*
I have no idea what that expression means. Nyahahaahhaha.

Because I know that I wanted what I did to be for you.
And though I wish I could tell you everything I wish to tell, I can't.
And though I wish I could give you what I got, I can't.
Just so you know.
