morning lights;

and all that dreamy nonsense. ;)

Real sorry I couldn't blog bout her on the day itself. Like I said, I fell sick.

My history with this one goes back a loooongg way. ; ) Back to the days of primary school when she was so tomboy it fooled me into believing she was a boy. Hahah, yeah yeah, I'm admitting to the world that I actually had a crush on her before in Standard 2 because she was so boyish! (Eh, you
can't blame me. I was like what? 8? Hahahaha.) And yeah, we used to play silly games where all of us would pretend to be princes or princesses and she'd always be one of the princes and family games where she'd always be the daddy. Yeah yeah, childhood pleasures. Don't blame us. XD Then the games even got to one that was called musuh musuh where we'd have two teams actually fighting against each other as though we were at war.

(Hahahahhaa, yeah, imagine that. A large group of girl 8-year-old kids fighting with each other. Sound like immature cat fights? You betcha. : p)

And yeah, so my team was against her and I was leader of my team and she was leader of hers. And under her orders, one of her "men", Amirah Nabilah (yes, I still remember) scratched my neck leaving a water-filled blister-like ball-thingy that has yet to go away till this very day. So yeah. Indirectly and literally, she's left a mark on me alright. ; )

I guess that's how we fell out. Haha, in Standard 3, after we shifted to the new SB
U building from BBGS, I remember me hating her like crazy. And yeah, she hated me too. I remember us kicking each other, and hitting and scratching and god knows what else la. But I think I did more it, so I'm sorry, my love. Eeekkk.

I think we decided to reconcile somewhere in Standard 4 and we became something like mere acquaintances to each other till Form One when we were placed in the same class of 1 Hormat. She sat in front of me with Wei Ann while I sat next to Xin Yi. We've been classmates ever since. : )

Oh, oh, yes. I remember this!

Her : Among, the four of us (referring to Ann, Xin Yi, me and her), Ann is the coolest. Laine is the prettiest. Xin Yi is the sweetest. And I'm the lamest.
*everyone else stares back at her*
Ann : Okay, I agree on that. (I think she was referring to the part where s
he said she's the lamest XD)

Well, I've already said so much bout the background of my friendship with her.
But I'm still thinking how exactly to put everything else into words. For starters, she's really whacky. Hahaha, countless of random screams have come from her in class and she's the most adorable thing you could ever imagine when she's giving presentations because she tends to make these really cute hand gestures. Especially when she's nervous. Nyek nyek. And oh yesssss, she has attitude alright.

Prefects' Camp '08.

She and her partner are giving a presentation on some prefect stuff. So they both deci
ded to do a short sketch of a possible incident that might happen to a prefect who "tegur"s a student for not having a ribbon when the prefect herself does not have one. Partner = prefect. Her = student.
Partner : Excuse me, where is your ribbon?
*she gives this killer-annoyed-looking stare at her partner and then reaches out and turns her partner around*
Her : Where is your ribbon? Why should I have a ribbon when you don't have a ribbon?? *scoffs* Pfft, prefects. *gives the killer look stare again, holds up a hand to her partner's face and walks away*

I remember her getting loads of cheers for that one. ; )

So. The truth about her. Hehehe. On the outside, she may seem like one tough cookie. But the truth is, she cares more than you think she does. She just doesn't show it that much. I remember pouring out my heartbroken emotions to her last year during badminton practice and suddenly, out of nowhere, she started crying. For me. Okay, please don't think I'm a horrible person. I didn't mean to make her cry! It just shows that she is actually someone who feels a lot more than others do. I mean. She was the first friend who actually cried for my sufferings. I know she'll always be there when I need her, and I'd like her to know that I'll always be there for her too (if only she'd let me laaa). I know she always looks out for my best interests in everything I do and she doesn't want me to get hurt ever again.

Well. For that.

Lim Poi Yin,

I want you to know that I love you and if possible, I wouldn't let anyone hurt you too. : )

HAPPY SWEET SIXTEEN!
lotsaaaaa loveee. XD

Heheh, xoxo.
