Hey there I found your profile online I would love to get to know you better
add me to msn messnger to chat!! 1988sandy@live.com

An email I pulled out from my inbox. WTF right. Is it just me, or is the world getting more and more random? Or maybe it's just Hotmail being dumb. o.o

Ah well. Moving on to the photos. :D
Okay, I accidentally uploaded the photos in the wrong order and I'm too lazy to rearrange them, so.. Bear with it. :D

DAY 3.
These were from my phone.

Dinner at some Vietnamese restaurant. Check out the menu! It's like. Wooden.

It's pretty, no?

After dinner, we went to some bakery to eat coconut ice-cream. :D No photos though. Except for this one.

Tilt your head to the right and see if you can see the word I spotted on it. LOL!

DAY 4.
Freeeee day. Went to the Old Quarter via taxi. Sat down at some cafe by the lake. [Yes, I know it's green. It is supposed to be a green lake. Hahaha.]

Had this. It's coconut ice-cream in some strawberry drink. Tasted kindaaa weird, but it was alright la. (:

Sunrise from the plane window. (:
Aww, where's my tall, dark and handsome when I need him. Eessh.

Reached and went to some really small temple that they made a big fuss out of. Missed out the photo. =s But came across these flags. x)

Erm. Supposedly some place that used to be a school for the kings' kids. Lazy to post so many photos. :D

Have no idea what it was... But look below.

Must be something important. o.o Though I have really no idea what's a stelea. Or what doctor for that matter.

Erm. Another photo.

Oh ya, in this place right! There were these two guys following us... I thought there was something fishy bout them already and when my dad pointed it out, I knew my suspicions were right. We walk here, they walk here. We walk there, they walk there. And they pretended to take photos of stuff while following us wey! Luckily we're smart. Spotted it and steered clear away from them. But they still followed la. =s Annoying okay. But then. One of the guys was kinda cute. HAHA.

Lunch time!
Pretty restaurant. (:

They served rice wine. Containing real alcohol. Sorry Muslims. Hehe. But it tasted really good! It was like. SWEET. Hahahaha. Mum bought an entire 500 ml bottle of it for RM10? Heeee.

Vietnamese spring rolls. Had these like. Many times throughout the trip. Heheh.

Fooooodd.

The entrance doorrr.

Next! Visited the Opera House in the French Quarter.
In her efforts to sell her pineapples, this lady placed her hat and that.. stick thingy on Dad. O.o HAHA.

AND Ken Xhen! WAHAHHAA.

Opera Houseeee. (:

Next! Some church. St. Josephine? o.o
Outside the church.

The church!

Went to some icky market after that. Did not like it. But ah well.
Checked into our hotel in the French Quarter. Hoa Binh Hotel. ALAT BATU HOABINH! Lol, I'm being lame.

The hotel was designed to look like some old French hotel. Haha. So it was nice.
Our room was a suite! BIG. With cable tv! (aka Astro)

Outside the lift. I tell you this mannequin is freaking scary. =s
Like pontianak harum sundal malam!

Those of you who read Sophie Kinsella's Remember Me?, HAHA, MONT BLANC!

Walked out for dinner. Reached a quaint cafe.

Ken Xhen with mushroom soup. It was like. The thickest mushroom soup I have ever tasted. Hahaha. Must be filled with evaporated milk.

We ate a lootttt. I had rice with beef and garlic sauce. Then we had Vietnamese spring rolls. And. Fried. And super awesome ice-cream! No photos. D= Parents watched Nadal play and win the match. Hehehe.

Romacaffe! So that's the name. We ate soooo much and it was like. Only 420, 000 dong? 80 ringgit? Awesome. :D

The sign of our hotel outside our room. HB. Hoa Binh!

The quilts were pretty.

DAY 2.
Had to take minibus to Halong Bay. Stopped by at some rest stop.

They were selling this. Urgh. Disturbing.

HAHA, THEY WERE OBSCENE.

I TOLD YOU. AHAHAHA.

Awwww? o.o

Reached the harbour!

Had to take a miniboat to our BIG boat. The big boat was called a.. jong? Yeah. That's it.
And yerp, that's the one! Outside nampak buruk kannnn? Waiittt...

The inside! OUR ROOM. NICE

The bigger room/suite. Parents and Ken Xhen stole it from Ee Von and me. NICE RIGHT. HAHA.

The corridor outside our rooms.

Did you know camwhoring is a must? XD

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that in general, it was a lot colder there than we expected. Proof's this photo. XD

Neh neh neh, jong!

The rusty anchor.

The top deck. COLD.

HAHAHA!
[Convenient how there are no funny photos of me eh. *evil grin*]

Reached the cave we were supposed to visit.

The bay is pretty too, no?

Inside the cave...
NICE RIGHT! Heeeee.

HAHAHAHAHA, they actually pointed this rock out as resembling a finger. WE SAY. it looks like a guy's..... *evil grin again*

Look the ceiling cantik wey....

Then we got to go kayaking! Hahaha. At first I didn't want to, but since Ken Xhen kept insisting... And no one else was willing to accompany him, and I have no idea what got into me that I wasn't even afraid that I'd drown or something.. I agreed to go with him. Ehehe.

Note : Ee Von is a sucky camerawoman. And I couldn't bring the camera with me cause we got wet.

The only clear photo. That's me. WIth my back facing the camera. o.o See my back and my hair la. =__= [Thank you Ee Von. =_____=]

After over an hour of kayaking, our arms were sore and my fingers were aching. We kayaked like. SUPER FAR OKAY. Reached a cave and a dead end then turned around and kayaked back all the way to the start. Maneuvering was kinda hard in the beginning. And looks like what they said bout girls is true. Girls have sucky coordination. And yeah, thanks to Ken Xhen I got the hang of the maneuvering. We worked together okay. Which is a surprise. Hehehe. And my paddling was a lot more effective than his. Wheeeee. And I got tired less and needed less rest. AAHAHA.

Eh, true la. When I paddle, the kayak zooms in front. When I don't, the kayak barely moves. SO. I ROCK. Whee!

Dining hall in the jong. Super tired already by dinner. Haha.

Look how they served the prawns. Hahaha.

Stuffed crab head. :D Cruncheyh!

More Vietnamese spring rolls. Heeee.

And for some reason, the rice was like super fluffy and round. Dad and Ken Xhen loved it. o.o

DAY 3.
Sorta fell sick in the middle of the night. Woke up feeling kinda nauseous. Think it's cause I lied down too soon after eating. So. I had indigestion. And I was kinda drunk? Hahahha. Rice wine!

We had to check out of our rooms really early. Like. 8.30 a.m. Hung out in the dining hall for ages. Did Add Maths. [Shaddap, I ain't no nerd.] Realised I suck in differentiation dy. ):

Then suddenly the tour guide was like. "People attention! We're going to pass kissing chicken. Get ready your cameras!" with the weird slang and improper grammar. AHHAA. I was like. Okayy.... Is it supposed to be some kind of statue?

Stood by with my Ixus next to some Australian lady. Look at her hand... Boy, she's scary old. =s

Tah dah! Turned out to be rocks of some sort. Man, Vietnamese have awesome imaginations. =_=

These were on display. Those must be pearls in the making. Like Jet said. The accumulated sand in the oyster, the oyster secretes some kind of fluid because it's irritated, the fluid turns the accumulated sand shiny on the outside. Hehe. See. I listen to you, Jet.

Captain's quarters and his view.

Watch this video! Hahhaa.

The hat Ken Xhen pulled over my head...

DAY 4. [again]
Right before my camera died.

The Old Quarters.

Daddy showing his enthusiasm in exploring the Old Quarters. Hahahhaa.

Got KFC wey! Haha.

Okay yay the post on Hanoi/Halong Bay trip is done. Hahhaa. Bye stupid annoying photos. =s

Oh yes, been thinking bout getting a Nintendo DS Lite. It's the effects of watching my brother play his too much. Eeesshh. It's soooo tempting!

I wanted you to be happy. It was how I was getting on.
But now you're like this.

What now?

p.s. Sometimes you make my heart melt. =D
