IMU
Day Two.
Just as awesome. :)
Dentistry first thing in the morning didn't really agree with me though. Don't like dentists, and don't like dentistry. Sorry to all the future dentists out there. =)
We were brought the Pathology Lab where the temporary Dentistry Lab was set up as well.
So we were asked to make our own models of teeth with plasticine. Haha. Not so pretty.
Why?????
Because apparently the human body is made up of three main types of cells. One of them creates human teeth. And since the organ was cancerous, the cells were malfunctioning and multiplying uncontrollably. Thus. The human teeth. In the uterus.
And see the black stuff at the bottom?
That's human hair.
Another of the main cells are the ones that create hair.
COOL! Haha.
But seriously, the food was awesome. Especially the sardine puff.
Biotechnology and biomedical slot after that.
Checked out the Forensics Lab! CSI! Way past cool.

Sorry I don't have pictures. Had to be careful. Lab assistant said that the stuff in that room was carcinogenic or in other words, cancerous for those of you don't know what it means. Had to keep hands very much to ourselves. Haha. But forensic science is so cool!
Multi-disciplinary laboratory after that. Learnt bout foodborne diseases. Foodborne diseases are caused by bacteria and can be easily spread through the food and water we consume. Also originates from stool. Especially the ones from livestock.
Next was a talk on study skills and time management. The lecturer was funny and the stuff he lectured was actually good. Though I doubt I'm ever gonna implement it cause I am way too lazy. Hon Weng! The lecturer looks like you when he smiles! HAHAHA. AsK Hamizah. Sorry no picture though.
Not bad eh my drawing??
Then we did this career test to see our interests. My top three were investigative, social, and artistic. Suggested careers? Medical biologist, practical nurse, psychologist, counseling psychologist. O.o HAHAH. But nah. Still like my cardiology.
Talk on IMU after that. Liked Mr Peter Pook, the lecturer. He was funny and he explained everything IMU had to offer really well.
50 bucks was really worth the two days workshop. Especially the food! Heeee. After being exposed to all the types of careers, I have a new list of choices.
1. Cardiologist. :)
2. Pathologist.
3. Pharmaceutical chemist.
4. Psychologist.
SO.
Anyone having second thoughts bout taking medicine now? X)
